How much does a trip cost?+
A day or evening trip starts at AED 250 per adult, children 4 to 11 pay half and under-4s travel free. Food, water sports and overnight stays are priced separately — every rate is published in full above, so you can build your own total before you write to us.
What is included?+
Your own camp on the island, standing before you arrive: shade, rugs, cushions, chairs and a table. The return boat transfer, a tour around the island, unlimited water, ice and cold drinks, and life jackets for everyone on board.
Where do we leave from, and how long does it last?+
Al Futaisi Marina, on the pontoon next to Sunset Life restaurant, with parking directly opposite. The crossing takes about twenty minutes and you stay four to six hours on the island. Day departures run from 08:00; the evening trip leaves at 16:30 and is back between 21:30 and 22:30.
What is the difference between the day, evening and overnight trips?+
The day trip is the island from morning to late afternoon. The evening trip takes over the same camp once the heat has gone, with the white underwater lights lit at dusk. From November you can also stay the night — tents, bedding, a shower and breakfast, all set up before you arrive.
How many guests can join?+
One boat takes up to 12. From 13 we add a second boat so the group stays together, up to 30 guests. Small groups are just as welcome, and the evening trip has no minimum.
What can we add to the trip?+
A barbecue we cook and serve, or one we simply light for you. Wakeboarding, the towable tube, a jet ski brought to the island, snorkelling, paddleboards, beach volleyball, a campfire, and decoration for a birthday or a proposal. You are only ever shown what we can actually run on the trip you have picked.
Who takes us out?+
CLUPEA is run by two brothers and one of us is always at the wheel — never a hired crew. We are European captains and we speak French, English and Arabic, before the trip on WhatsApp and on the boat on the day.
Can we come with children, non-swimmers or a dog?+
Yes to all three. Life jackets come in every size, the island has long shallow stretches you can stand in, and one of us is with the group throughout. Well-behaved dogs come along often, at no extra charge — just tell us in advance so we plan shade and water for them.
What should we bring, and what is on the island?+
A towel, sunscreen and water shoes are the three that matter; a hat and a light layer for the evening. There is a toilet on board for day and evening trips, and a private camp toilet for overnight stays. For alcohol, ask us when you book — the rules on the water in Abu Dhabi are strict and depend on the trip.
How do I book, pay and cancel?+
Build your trip on this page and send it on WhatsApp; we confirm availability, and a 30% deposit holds your date. The balance is settled on the day by transfer, cash or payment link. If the weather stops us sailing you choose between a full refund and another date, at no charge; cancel more than three days ahead and your deposit moves to another date.
